Description:

Translation:

Closely related to D. hearseyana Moore but with shorter wings, the fore wings like the thorax dorsally pale greyish brown, with four costal spots, one basal spot, one cellular spot, an obsolete discocellular one and two black pairs near the median fold; the hind wings like the abdomen rather pale; underside of the fore wings with a rather vague apical margin, the costal margin ochraceous, the spot of the cellula and the small antero-discal line dark brown; [underside of the] hind wings with a thick black discal spot. Peradenia near Kandy.
